1. Aurther's Seat Point:

This point is named after sir Aurther. This point is at the peak and situated at 1470m. A wonderful valley view can be seen from this point. It overlooks Savitri river. Sir Aurther once lost his wife and one month old daughter in a ferry accident in savitri river and hence he would often come to this point and sit and gaze river savitri for hours. Konkan from one sideand Deccan from the other can be seen from this point. one of the main points of entire tour of Mahabaleshwar darshan. It is located approximately 13 kms from
Mahabaleshwar market.

2. Old Mahabaleshwar Temple

Old Mahabaleshwar is also known as Kshetra Mahabaleshwar, located at approximately 7kms
distance from the main Mahabaleshwar market. The temple site comprises of many temples small and big. But mainly there are two temples that are a must visit. One is Lord Shiva temple which is believed to be built in 1215 AD and subsequent improvements were done in 16th and 17th century. The second is the Panchganga Temple. It is built at the intersection point of 5 rivers namely Krishna, Venna, Savitri, Koyna and Gayatri. People take a holy dip in these
waters during Mahashivratri.

3. Wilson (Sunrise) Point:

It is a popular mountain top point, the highest point in entire Mahabaleshwar. It offers a scenic panoramic view during sunrise. It has a small treacherous road to reach at the top. Then you have a vast flat land. It has three towers close to each other which offer a perfect view of sunrise.Two tracks on either side of the road have been developed for walking recently. It has also become one the favourite spots for daily morning walk of locals. Its open all day but the
best time to visit is in the mornings.

4. Venna Lake

Venna lake is the only lake in proper Mahabaleshwar.  located at a distance of 3kms from the main market. It offers boating with a picturesque view of forest from all three sides. you can also do horse riding here, it has a long horse riding track.Apart from that you have variety of fast food stalls where you can sit for hours and enjoy local delicacies like strawberry with cream, makkai tikkis, chat, pizza, frankie and so on. Then there are game stalls and mini train where
children will love to play. Is a must visit spot in
Mahabaleshwar.

5. Lingmala Waterfall

Lingmala waterfall is located 6kms from Mahabaleshwar market. It has a small entry fee. Once you enter the gates, you need to climb down 150-200 steps. There you reach a point that has  two diversions. The path to the left takes you to Lingmala Doh point which is a beautiful place
with natural pond and small waterfalls amidst thick forest. The right pathway takes you to the
main point from where you can view the beautiful breath taking Lingmala waterfall in the valley.
It's a pure nature lover's point.
